CITY AND ARCHITECTURE.
We believe that an emblematic building for the Catholic University of Córdoba should not only solve the programmatic needs and be an interesting building itself, but should also generate a contribution to the city and improve the environment in which it is inserted.

The building is conceived as an open complex, crossed by a street in the north-south direction and opening the block towards the neighborhood. To generate a close relationship with the city, the new building is presented as a set of buildings crossed by an urban void.

PHASES. Each of the phases of the new project are clearly defined, thinking about the successive construction of each one of them without interfering with the use of the preceding stages.

TECHNIQUE AND CONSTRUCTION. Materiality and structure define the image of the project. The construction methods allow flexibility and changes over time. The use of locally produced industrialized materials and techniques, rapid assembly and low maintenance cost were prioritized.
